We have been watching these thunderclouds over the past week,
they look kinda spooky to us. See that round billowy cloud in the
center? These cloud formations did this several times that
afternoon.
Low on the horizon and blown by the wind. This is looking North from
our house.
I say spooky? Because this is about where Mt. Saint Helens is!
This mushroom cloud looked like a good likeness of an ash
cloud.
The news never said the mtn. blew again, so I guess she is
still sleeping! LOL
We watched the mtn. blow on May 18, 1980, and many times after,
it was a pretty scary experience.
I will have to find some old pics of the eruption so you can see the
resemblance.
