The kids took us to lunch the other day. To a sushi bar! Didnt know if I would like it, but I didnt have to eat any raw fish LOL. This is a close up of the conveyor and one of the food preparers. You just pick what looks good. It is like $1 to be seated, $1.10 a plate plus your drinks. Not to bad!! I think it was under $30 for the 4 of us! (The kids bought!!! Thanks you guys!) You can see part of the menu on the table that tells you what everything is.
And a shot down the line, it is a great big oval! 4-5 preparers in the middle with a waitress outside to bring drinks. Bar type seating, or a booth, which is where we sat.
I have to say, I will go again!!! It was really good!

Good for you for trying something new! I love sushi -- it's probably my top favorite cuisine. If you want something easy the first time you try raw fish, try a Philadelphia roll -- it has salmon and cream cheese inside. Yum. :o) I definitely think salmon is the easiest fish to eat raw -- it has a great texture, very tender, unlike when it's cooked.
ReplyDeleteYeah I did try a salmon one, so I guess I did!! LOL LOL It was good, couldnt taste the fish so much.
ReplyDeleteGood sushi should never taste fishy! But salmon is definitely the easiest to eat. If you ever get really brave, try salmon sashimi -- that's straight fish, no rice. I love it with a flake of ginger (I put ginger on ALL my sushi) and dipped in soy sauce. Mmmmmm. ^_^
