Snapshots of a Wedding.

Freinds of ours that we went to school with, found each other after our 20th class reunion, and they just got married recently. So happy for them to finally find each other after all these years. They also have the cutest little boy, but you will see....

We got there and the BBQ was a going! Smelled wonderful. Old freinds, and classmates were doing the BBQing, along with everyones family, and close freinds. It was a really good time and so good to see everyone.

The groom waiting for his bride. His Mom owns the property and this wonderful building, where all these festivities were held. The building used to be a tavern, way out in the country, I remember my Dads country music band playing music there when I was a kid. Our graduating class also had our 5 year class reunion here. It now is only rented out for private partys.

Most of these people, I went to grade school and High school with! I think it is amazing that we would all come together for old freinds getting hitched! Pretty cool too.
My Dad and Hubby talking before the ceremony. There were paper lamp lights in the trees and a fire pit and of course beverages! I love my man, the first time I remember meeting him, we were in the 7th grade! Our class didnt get together a 25 year reunion this year, but this Wedding came close! LOL LOL
The beautiful Bride, and her Dad and little brother walking her up.

They had wonderful vows for each other, it was a really touching ceremony.
This is bubbles!! Little bubble wands and birdseed were given out to throw over the couple.

The couple, now Mr. and Mrs. S.

They have a two year old little boy, Porter. He is the cutest thing! And all boy! He is having fun here dumping birdseed on Dads head, he thought it was really funny.

Little Master Porter, LOL he doesnt hold still long enough to get photos of him! See the water bottles and dirt behind him?
Well I got a really cute picture of him making mud pies in his tuxedo! LOL LOL

This place is so cool inside, lots of decorating and collectibles. Here is a series of pics of inside the building.                  This is behind the bar, a finished and stained, wood top bar, I remember when they built it!
The chandeliers are Mason jars, really very cool!

Here is that hand finished bar top. I really cant remember how long that this place has been here, I am guessing 30-35 years? Wow I am getting old LOL LOL

The walkway up to the front door. There were cute little saying on each of the hearts, about the wedding couple.
There are even old antiques and stuff outside. This is a view into the back yard, from the parking area.
And through the gate, on the other side of this group of trees, is where the ceremony was.
Cant forget the cake! It was pretty cute.
And taking off of the garter! LOL LOL They did the toast and the cake ceremony too, my pics were to dark.
There was a live band.
And dancing, the really cute black and white checkered dance floor. All in all it was a great time, great people and good food too!!

Thank you Pat and Maria, for letting all of us share in your special day. It was great fun.

Cool looking Moth....

Meghan and Hubby called me out on the deck the other night and showed me this Moth. Those are 4" boards on the deck, so it is pretty big.
Meg layed down and took this close up LOL.

Dublin helping Meghan with her computer, he is good at that, LOL.

Dublin laying in the gravel, I have this picture of Luxor in the gravel

Have been talking about him a lot lately, with Dublin going back pretty soon.

Car Show

Hubby and I stopped by a car show on Saturday. It wasnt a big show, but there were a lot of cool cars. This show was hosted by Georgia Pacific, our local paper mill.

This one is just cute! Love the paint.
This is an all stock Volkswagon Bus, they even had the canopy on the side out with all the vintage camping equipment.
I collected pics of maroon and candy apple red cars, LOL, hmm I wonder what my favorite color is?

I think a '65 Mustang is my favorite( although I dont know if this is LOL for you that do) I love the detail on the side of that year.

Speaking of detail, here are some close ups of some really cool detailing! Love the door panels!

Pretty cool!

More candy apple red! I love this one with all the cool flames.

Even the steering column is total chrome!

And this one is for Meghan, she has always wanted a Jeep!

These are my first pics taken on my new IPhone, not to bad, but I figured out I need to figure out which way to hold it sideways, instead of up and down. I forgot the camera, again.

Cabellas, post #2

Upstairs was incredible! Hunting hunting hunting!

Bighorn Sheep

We ate at the cafe. My picture of the menu didnt turn out, all the walking had me a little shaky so my pics were blurry. Anyway, we both had and Elk Braat, yum yum, and split an order of fries. Yes I am weird I love Ketchup with my sauerkraut, LOL LOL.

Things to come!

A lot of the mounts were set up in scenes.

The full sized airplane, from the second level, and the stairs if you are so inclined to climb them, LOL.

A whole sea of C A M O! LOL LOL

This is zooming in clear across the store, from the cafe! Whats to come in here! We were pretty excited.

They have a whole BBQ and camping and outdoor cooking section. I liked this propane, stove/oven! boy would that have been cool when we were camping in our great big Army tent.

There is a huge Arcade with laser guns to shoot to your hearts content! Coin operated of course.

So many beautiful mounts! Nope, I do not find them sad or scary or disturbing at all! In fact I think they honor the animal that was harvested. We have two deer, head mounts in our living room.

And a sea of guns for sale, OMG this is the longest gun sales counter I have ever seen!!

Just about anything you may want in firearms!

Except what was in here! OMG again WOW, these are the pricey guns, a lot of them are consignments too and they have a ton of used guns that they sell here. Love the Elephant tusks, I dont know if they were real or not, I am guessing, probably not.

Just a couple of the pistols in one of the cases. Yeah, zoom in and look at those prices, and those were the cheap ones!! The most expensive rifle I seen in here was $27,000.000 Yeah. Pistols and shotguns and rifles, oh my. A gun lovers meca!!! And you must have d e e p pockets!

I thought these little wooden Winchester boxes were cute! They hold a brick of .22 shells.

Another view of the Elk mounts.

Did I say it was cool! I cant believe how many mounts are in here!

And, even an African exhibit!
I believe this is an (African) Elephant LOL LOL

The Rhino was huge, I think it would take 6 of my horses hoof prints to cover one of his!

A Lion fighting a Water Buffalo.

There is a scratch on the Water Buffalos face and blood on the right paw of the Lion

Kudo horns are my favorite.
Well thats all the pics that I took, could have taken much more LOL. Hope you enjoyed our tour.
