Dublin goes to College....
Today I take Dublin back to Guide Dogs for the Blind. He has been a great puppy, and is more than ready for College! I am hoping I can take him to him dorm room and tour around with him a little before I leave him in the care of his instructors!
It has been wonderful to see the pictures of him over the past year, and to read about your experiences. That second picture with the "guide dog puppy" sign seems misleading, because he doesn't look like a puppy anymore, but a very grown-up, handsome boy!
Katharine, the Guide dog puppy "sign" makes it a lot easier for the general public to see what they are. We get so many people that just want to pet them, but they are working dogs and we really need the public to ask, before petting.

Good Luck Dublin! He's going to do so wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteSuch a good thing to do but it has to be heartbreaking also! Such a good boy he has been!
