The Northwest Horse Fair and Expo, Albany, Oregon....

Well we had a great time at the Expo!!!! Five of us went and we had a good time. Judy, Carol, Maryann, Glenna and I! I happen to be twenty years the jr. of all these wonderful ladies! LOL They are a kick! Great people all of them!!!! Judy picked me up at 7:30am and we didnt get home untill after midnight!!!

Here we are going in the entry gate.

Found the Parelli booth, entered a drawing and didnt get drawn :o( LOL LOL But I took a pen, got a Saavy Times, magazine and a cool orange Parelli bracelet!

We shopped.... Carol, Judy and Glenna, I think Maryann found a goodie to look at!

And shopped....

And Shopped....

Did I say we shopped!!! LOL LOL This is the best show around for horse shopping! We had a blast, and I could of bought a whole bunch!! But.... the checkbook said I couldnt!! LOL There are two huge building packed full of everyone from the horse trade! Horsetrailers, saddlers, clothing, decore, feed, books, etc., etc.

These little guys were so cute!! The presenter was doing a grooming demo, but he spent more time talking about how grooming gets you to connect and bond with your animal and little about how too. Anyway, we listened for awhile, then, thank god one of us had to pee!!!! so we exited stage left!!! LOL LOL But the donkeys were worth it!! LOL

This would be Rembrant, a very highly German scored Frisian stallion.

A little blurry, but you have to love that trot!! I wonder what its like to ride though!! LOL

This horse is He's a Tuff Real Commander, QH stallion, he is gorgeous, I love the buttermilk buckskin color. And he went bridle less! Still nothing better than a stock horse!!! But I love watching them all!!!!

We watched/listened to Ken McKnabb, he was pretty good, he is a clinition in the John Lions way. He had to let his assistant ride the horse, when it was ready, because three weeks ago he woke up with his left arm numb, and the docs cant figure out why, so he is taking it easy to give it a chance to resolve.
Next post! More Frisians!!! and Andalusians, in costume, and the Wind River trail challenge, semi finals..... be back soon!!!
